It has been a wonderful journey being a potter and being self employed. There are many challenges to this lifestyle, but it is a rewarding choice.
Making pottery is like any job, it is a huge commitment of time and energy, but to create something for others to use and enjoy in their lives is what we strive for.
We are lucky in Nelson to have a well established network of potters and other creative people working in the arts. Nelson is a beautiful part of New Zealand with its stunning beaches and coastline, mountain views and outdoor activities from swimming, tramping to biking with the added bonus of plenty of sunshine.
